What is your passion?
My passion is sharing the love, truth and reality of Jesus Christ through the written word.
What got you into writing?
I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember. In elementary school, I loved writing stories. Middle school began my creative writing: poetry and songs. In high school I started blogging on and off (and just recently started writing more seriously when this website was created in May 2012). I’ve written articles for the newspaper, devotionals for church’s websites, and more.
What quote inspires you and why?
“Write things worth the reading, do things worth the writing.” (Benjamin Franklin) I don’t want what I write to be meaningless. I want my words to make a difference in the lives of those who read them. I also don’t want to be hypocritical. Ultimately, I want my actions to speak louder than my words. These two things can only be accomplished by the grace of God.
